The Book Fair Opens Tuesday!!
We will hold our annual Madison Book Fair November 4th-8th in the MRC!
Students will visit the book fair with their classes for a preview and to create their wish lists on Tuesday, November 4th. Most students will be taking pictures of desired books on their iPads and some may write their wish list.
Parents are welcome to attend the book fair preview with your child's class (click HERE to see the schedule). Parents may purchase books at this time or during any time the book fair is open. Students will not make purchases on preview day (11/4), but all students will create a wish list. Students will be able to bring money to purchase on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, with or without a parent present. Only students who bring money or a note to their teacher stating you will be meeting them during school time will be going to the book fair on Thursday or Friday Please note: students may make purchases after school if they return to the book fair with a parent, but must meet their parent outside and re-enter through the office doors.
The "Birthday Book Club" is a way for your child to donate a book to the library in honor of their birthday. There will be a section of selected books for purchase. A sticker will be placed in the book with the student's name & birthday. Once the library processes the book, your student will get to be the first one to check the book out and their name will go on the birthday club wall.
Parents are invited to help at the Book Fair this year! Please review the available volunteer slots HERE and sign-up if you are able to. Thank you for your support!
High Interest Day 2026
The PTO is starting to plan for High Interest Day, which will be on May 22nd, 2026! High Interest Day is a highlight of the year for our 3rd - 5th graders where they rotate through four classes of their choosing and can see how interests they develop now can turn into careers and hobbies as adults!
Each year we have approximately 20 offerings covering different careers, hobbies and sports - see HERE for last year’s High Interest Day classes. We are interested in hearing from our parent community about any new High Interest Day class ideas!
Please email highinterestday@madisonpto.org if you’d like to discuss. Note that while we can’t guarantee every idea will be included as a class this year, we very much appreciate your interest and look forward to working with you!

Cultural Night
Join us for Madison Cultural Night on Thursday November 6th, 6:00-7:30pm in the gymnasium. Our Madison families will proudly be displaying their heritages and cultures along with food, music, performances, and all kinds of fun. This event correlates with the extended hours of the Book Fair (open 5:30-8:00pm), so come join us for a night of celebrating our diversity with our wonderful community.
The District adheres to State guidance with respect to maintaining an environment free from food allergies. As the Cultural Night is not a part of the school curriculum, the food brought to the event has not been subject to the District’s food allergy restrictions. Everyone attending is responsible for enjoying the food while observing their own dietary restrictions. A link to the ingredients of the foods available at Cultural Night can be found HERE.
