Attention 3rd Graders: Join the Orchestra!
Enrollment for the Madison School orchestra is happening now! You have an exciting musical opportunity to be a part of this excellent program in 4th grade. Instruments in the orchestra include the string family: violin, viola, cello, or string bass. Ever wonder what it would be like to play these? Now is your chance!
Students will try out these instruments during school with string teachers, Mrs. Beyer and Mrs. Rollins on Tuesday, May 29th.
Parents, if your child is interested, registration and instrument rental is available from 4:00-8:00PM on Tuesday, June 5th at Hinsdale Middle School in room 126. Or, stop by earlier on Wednesday, May 30th any time between 4:00-8:00PM at Clarendon Hills Middle School in room 125.
Questions? Please contact Madison School’s orchestra director, Emily Beyer at ebeyer@d181.org

The Spring Showcase will conclude with our Chorus’ Spring Concert this coming Tuesday evening, May 22, at 7:30 in our MPR/gym. At this time, we will sing music from each of the All School Meetings this year. It’s a great celebration and we hope all are able to attend. If you are coming straight from the ball field, come in your uniform (but change out of your cleats!), Otherwise, please dress a little nicer than you would for school. It’s been a great year and we are ready to sing for you. The concert should conclude by 8:15.
The May All School Meeting is this Thursday, May 24 at 2:00. After this week, the Madison School Chorus is done for the year. Thank you for starting your Tuesdays and Thursdays with me all year long. It’s been a fantastic year!
A big thank you to everyone who came to the Madison School Plant Sale at Bronswood Greenhouse on May 5th. Thanks to your support, along with a group of fantastic volunteers and ideal weather conditions, the event raised close to $1500 for Madison School!
