Thank you for joining us for Curriculum Night! We hope the evening gave you a helpful look into your child’s classroom and learning experience at Madison. As we reflect on this year’s format and begin thinking about next year, we would appreciate your feedback. This brief survey should take approximately 1–2 minutes to complete.

DAPFL is the cornerstone program of Maureen Claffy Art Academy. A STEAM program, it teaches the essential skill of drawing through instruction in geometric shape. The class develops the creative process through the use of quality materials and explanation of methods, while allowing for freedom of interpretation in the final art. DAPFL creates individuals who will make art throughout their lifetimes because they know how to draw and they are confident, curious and courageous in the expression of ideas and the use of materials.

Draw and Paint for Life is a unique curriculum developed by Maureen Claffy and it teaches the artistic process while respecting the autonomy of the child artist. Every class is new every day of the school year and every class results in a finished work of art. Remove the instructional piece from the top and the art is ready to display and to gift.
