🎃 Halloween Festivities at Madison!

We are looking forward to a fun-filled afternoon of Halloween celebrations on Friday, October 30th! We are excited to share the details below:

Halloween Schedule:

Lunch/Recess: Students are encouraged to stay at school for lunch and recess and bring their costume in a bag. However, families may choose to take their child(ren) home for lunch. If you plan to pick up your child for lunch, please fill out this form for each child you plan to pick up.
Pick-Up/Drop-Off: If your child goes home for lunch, pick-up and drop-off will take place in the back parking lot. A staff member will sign students back in at 12:15.
Costume Time: Students who remain at school for lunch may change into their costumes after lunch.
Parade: Our Halloween Parade will begin at 1:00 (see the parade route below).
Classroom Parties: Classroom celebrations will take place from 1:30–2:30.

👻 Costume Guidelines:

To ensure a safe and enjoyable day for everyone, please keep these guidelines in mind when selecting costumes:

Costumes should be appropriate for an elementary school setting.
No weapons of any kind (real or pretend) or depictions of blood or violence.
Full-face masks are not allowed. Face paint may be used to enhance a costume, but the entire face should not be covered.
Costumes should allow students to walk, sit, and move safely throughout the day (please avoid oversized or inflatable costumes).
