The Madison Kids Care Club is a special program offering our 3-5 grade students the opportunity to work together to find meaningful ways to give back to our school and community. This year, we are doing things a little different and are thrilled to have Madison staff – Mrs. Gadzala, Mrs. Herr and Mrs. Dunlea – taking the lead. They will be working closely with the PTO Committee Chairs, Erin Sexton and Jennifer Weil, to bring programming in and out of school.
Kids Care Club’s focus will be a reflection of the D181 SELAS vision – specifically “children learn to have an understanding and empathy for others and develop positive relationships.” Members will have a unique opportunity to participate in projects that will serve not only our community, but communities around the world!
- Fifth Grade: Work on a special project that will last the school year
- Third & Fourth Grade: Work on mini projects throughout the year & help support fifth graders with their special project
Meetings will be held monthly during school lunch (first meeting is October 10), with additional special events planned for outside of school. Click here for more information and to register today!
