Hot Lunch Updates!

Our first Hot Lunch is Thursday, September 12th! 

 

**NEW THIS YEAR** Water bottles will no longer be served with Hot Lunch, students are encouraged to bring water from home (in a reusable bottle) to minimize waste.

If you missed the deadline to order, please create / login to your NEW Marla's Lunch account and place an order for October's Hot Lunch. Register HERE and enter Madison's one-time school code ES353 (code is case sensitive). Our next lunch will be Thursday, October 10th (lunch orders are due on October 2nd at noon).

Bike Rodeo

The Bike Rodeo will be held on Wednesday September 11th!

 

The Bike Rodeo is for all Madison 3rd-5th graders to earn their Bike License so they are able to safely ride their bike to and from school. This event is put on with the Hinsdale PD and run by parent volunteers. There are three different time slots (3:30pm, 4:00pm, and 4:30pm) to choose from and you can register HERE

 

The Bike Rodeo is such an important event that is held at the beginning of every school year, and we need parent volunteers to make it run smoothly. If you are able to help with this event, please sign up HERE.

 

A few things to keep in mind for families participating: Each student should arrive with an adult to assist in the process of getting the bike license. Each student should have the Bike Registration Form filled out, printed and signed. Each student must have their own bike and helmet to participate in the event. The event may take up to 90 minutes, so please plan accordingly.

 

Prior to the Bike Rodeo, we ask that students watch these 2 videos, "How to Ride a Bike Safely with Rules of the Road fun for kids" and "Bicycle Safer Journey".

Dash & Bash

Madison School PTO is excited to bring back the Dash & Bash on Friday, September 27th!

 

Join Madison families for a fun-filled event! The evening will kick-off with a fun run and end with a movie night at Robbins Park.

Tickets are $30 per attendee; each ticket includes a Dash & Bash t-shirt, participation in the fun run "Dash" for students, and the "Bash" for Madison families featuring food for purchase from Taco Motara & Giuliano's Pizza, bounce house, balloon artists, face painters, DJ & more!! Ticket sales will be open until the day of the event - t-shirts are only guaranteed for registrations received by Monday, September 9th.

 

Volunteers are crucial to make Dash & Bash a success! Please sign up for a volunteer position HERE. Most shifts are 30 minutes - we are happy to write letters for high school students who need volunteer hours. Thank you!!

Game Set Style Giveback Event

Save the date! On September 19th, Game Set Style will host a giveback event with 15% of all purchases on 9/19 benefitting the Madison PTO. We will have a happy hour from 6-8pm featuring wine & charcuterie from Gone Grazy!
