High Interest Day

We’re thrilled to bring back High Interest Day this year on Friday, May 20!  High Interest Day is an interactive day when our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students have a chance to see how the interests they develop now can turn into careers and hobbies they can pursue when they become adults. Students will spend the full day rotating through four different classes taught by Madison parents and local businesses.  Students will also complete a service project with the Hinsdale Humane Society.  We have a terrific line-up of class offerings, which can be found HERE.  This week in school, students will select the six classes that are of most interest to them – two from each category (Careers, Hobbies/Interests, Sports).  We will use those selections to create their schedules for the day.  It would be wonderful if you could take a few minutes to help your children become more familiar with the offerings and think through what they would like to select.  Room parents will also be in touch this week with a SignUp Genius soliciting volunteers for High Interest Day.  If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out at [email protected]
